About Classic Custom Templates

A Classic custom template describes the design and layout of your blog. You use a template to choose where and how entries are displayed, position the blog's graphics, and include information such as the blog name, entry date/time, or a link to your profile page.

You edit a template using HTML (HyperText Markup Language), which is a collection of "tags" used to write web content. If you're new to HTML, you may want to read a HTML tutorial.

To edit a blog's template, choose a blog to edit on the Write page, then choose Change template and click "Edit Classic custom template". If you've used Blogger templates, Blogit Classic custom templates are similar.
