Good morning. You lived it, and your memory is remarkable. You captured the essence of the mill workers perfectly. Stepdad #3 spent most of his life working for Weyerhaeuser in Oregon. A WWII Navy veteran and skilled sawyer, he was missing the pinky on his left hand. I always look forward to reading your stories from your high school days. Have a great day!

Good Morning
Pat, I found myself drawing close to the locals. These are the kind of people that I would trust. They have experienced life and know what it is all about. War has taught them what life can be, and they appreciate their hometown and the people in it. I love this post. Pat, I hope you have a good day. How are the backyard squirrels doing?
