Just think what you all would be doing if you did not have that table and be thankful that you can do those things. I know, I know, I often wished my house could remain wonderful looking but I so loved my four sons and my grandchildren, and my sisters visiting, and my parents visiting even though as soon as everyone was gone I'd start cleaning up again.

I have to say my dining room table is mostly clean. I do have my laptop on a placemat because I'm working on my poetry book. I've always made it a point to keep the countertops, island and table clean so the house doesn't look messy. Also, I'm the only one that lives here. If I was in your situation I'd be the same way. Many people in the house requires different ways of doing things. Today is our last warm day for the year. It's too bad because they have been able to get Jasmine out for sun and fresh air.
There was a blogger who lived in Oregon that came by my house and couple of times. Another time I flew to Houston to see a blogger. There was a time when quite a few ladies were good friends on Blogit. They're all gone from the site. My email address changed and I didn't save addresses so I've lost touch with them.

I really love the story of your kitchen table - it seems to be at the heart of all the family traditions. You could name it Henry -- as in Henry Wadsworth Longfellow -- since there are so many stories where it's front and center.

Sherri, I love Best Medicine. I hope the Doc gets together with Louisa. I like the fact that our weather is so similar. I always try to alert you if the weather is taking a turn for the worse. I'm sitting here drinking a Blackberry Ginger Ale. Caeser got it for me, and it's different but good. He likes me to try new things. I hope you have a good day!

Good morning. You are right. Our weather is very similar. What you get one day, we usually get the next. When John and I came to visit, your table was clean and ready for us to enjoy the yummy spaghetti dinner and strawberry cake you prepared. I remember you mentioning that you had to clear everything off the table beforehand. My kitchen island is our catch-all. We watched Best Medicine last night. Louisa and Dr. Best are bonding even more, especially since he missed the drive to Boston to attend the gala with Eden. I’m excited to watch another episode tonight.
