That is smart advice. I tried breastfeeding with my first daughter. I even used a breast pump, but it was not to be. Thank goodness for formula.

I suppose years ago there was no other method available unless one was offered surplus from a neighbor who had a surplus. I remember a few years back a small firm offered ice-cream supposed to me made from Breast Milk. There was strangely enough a sale for this. It did not last the authorities were on to it and closed it down.🌺

My mother intended to breastfeed me, but with he pregnancy being difficult, she decided not to.
