A fellow traveller
I have always had the travel bug. Those are some great choices. Since my wife hurt her knee, we haven't been getting out much. So enjoy yourselves and be safe. 40 years is a blessing.

Living in The Heartland we always planned our fun trips westward. We've explored every state west of the Mississippi River. Also spent a lot of time in Florida since one of my sons moved there after his schooling and raised his family there. I have lots of memories, lots of photos, but I do not have any desire to travel any longer. So do it while you are young and vibrant. Memories are great.

Sherri, I know wherever you go, you will have a good time. I've been to Carolina Beach, and it's only about 50 miles from Virginia Beach. When we were there, I would watch the deep-sea fishing boats come in at dusk. It was awesome. They would have lots of fish hanging off the back of the boats. We went on a dinner cruise, and that was nice too. It will be nice to see all the beautiful leaves along your way. Meeting up with old friends is awesome too! My nephew has been telling me about a tomahawk steak. I think that would be a nice treat for John. Dave said they are huge. The one he got was $80. Vacations are the best! I hope you have a good day.
