As I read your post, I remembered my father, who made us turn off all lights and TVs during a lightning storm. He did not play. When you read on your own, your mind can triple the story's special effects. I believe your post would make an intense movie scene. Have a great evening.

I really enjoy those dramatic storms and love sitting on our covered porch to watch them pass, although it would have been somewhat annoying if the storm had interrupted a good book.

Wow! I don't like lightning I think I would have blackout curtain, and hide under the bedclothes. But I guess you have been used to sleeping under the skies. 🌺
