Perhaps he was really not her type. I have had mothers trying to explain the sweetness of a

She was too picky me thinkks. he brought flowers, that should have melted some ice from around her heart. He was lonely just wanted some company1

The agony and ecstasy depicted marvelously. With rain in the boots I was elated when he bailed out so to speak to win the lottery! A delightful read. I like it when there's a winner amidst indecision.
