The Guardians have a knack for hanging around and then pounce at the end of the season to grab the division. Today was Justin Verlander's final game of his career. He's a Tiger legend. When it was time for him to come out of the game to get his recognition for a great career the Tigers' manager got his daughter and she walked her dad off the field for the final time. Not a dry eye in the park or my house. It will be that way for the Guardians when Jose Ramirez retires as well. I remember when Jim Thome retired, not a dry eye in the house. He rounded the bases with his son Landon who is now a baseball player.

Re: Re: Good Evening
BearcatMike, I like having a team that I follow. Thank you for the blessings, and I wish the same for you and your wife. Are you singing in the choir tomorrow? I hope you have a good night.

I remember that movie. I am a Jack Lemon fan. Glad that your teams are all doing well. I think people love sports because it gives your city bragging rights. And it gives everyone a common cause. Continued Blessings.

I watched the remake of The Out-of-Towners starring Steve Martin and Goldie Hawn. I will have to check out the original.

Goldiec.....
I'm laughing. It serves me right for what I said yesterday. God knew I needed a lesson on humility. I must admit that yesterday your team was better than my team. Isn't it fun to have sports to enjoy.
