Well we now know the secret to charm computers. We shall have to have a disk with your song as preventive method if signs of breakdowns appear. I would like to place an early order signed of course.🌺

You would not believe how much my mood has changed since I'm back on line. Yesterday at Bible Study I even had the ladies praying for my computer.

Back then, I loved isolation. We had a big family and a small house so I loved some isolation and quiet. But at my age I kind of freaked out. It was almost like "The Rapture" had occurred and I was left behind.

I was offline a couple of days ago because of a network outage here. Since my landline phone is also linked in, I had no phone, no TV and no FB or Blogit. I had a day of isolation, almost like the early 1950s when I lived in the Cascade foothills in Washington. We chopped wood for the cookstove in the kitchen, raised chickens and vegetables, hung our washing on a line stretched between two tall fir trees - we did have a wringer washer... Your post reminded me of the 'good old days.'
