Well I would imagine only nut cases would have fires in the hot weather. I must not tell Colin but it would be great if he had a warning. folk will buy anything if it is cheap but I would not be surprised to learn that the ban is made law.🦋

Well one would be foolish to burn anything when such a dry time has made everywhere a hazard. I use Gas so it is contained🌺

Droughts have a major impact on wood burning. Hopefully, the rain will come, and people will have firewood as a means to stay warm.

There are some burn bans here in middle America, too - it's no longer ok to burn wastepaper or other trash, although burning barrels were common a few years ago. I hope the powers-that-be do not mess with you and your brother and the choices you can make on your own property.

Our communities are like that. Some allow burn barrels, while others do not. Too many people attempt to burn old tires and garbage. Hopefully, the pallets he cut up won't be for nothing.
