I remember it well. Those times were special. It also brought our family together for at least an hour or 2 a week. The thrill of seeing life through others' eyes.

What great memories you bring back. When my Mom and Dad were the age that I am now and Sis and I were taking turns staying with them and helping them out, we so appreciated the fact of the availability of what you speak of for entertaining them so easily and enjoying ourselves also.

We had a great store like that in the early part of the century. It had movies and lots of other cool merchandise. I, like you, enjoyed shopping there!

Good Evening
FSI, we bought a Curtis Mathis DVD player, and they gave us at least 100 coupons to rent free movies. The kids loved it, and on the weekends we'd go to the store to get movies to watch. It was the best. Everything is different now. You can buy the movies on your home TV screen. It was fun back then. I hope you have a good night.

Yes! We used to love taking our girls to Blockbuster or Hollywood Video on Friday afternoons to choose videos for the evening's entertainment. It's sad how many fun things we have lost over time.
