It would be nice when it comes to certain politicians, but for the average working stiff, not on any level would an enforced retirement work just because you have a certain amount of money. There are too many variables with the continuing cost of living, and it would have the potential to negatively affect the health of those forced to stop working. People need purpose to continue thriving, and not everyone ages the same mentally or physically.

But mandatory retirement is illegal in this country for many jobs. For pilots and high-level executives, it isn't so maybe it could work. I simply don't know.

A food for thought item. I suspect it would need parameters. It would work for employees. But business owners not so much in my opinion.
