I don't know what age these students are but it does seem that the teachers have retained a way of dealing with the ongoing change in education. I remember one teacher he had a small cannon on his desk and he would fire it at anyone not paying attention it really hurt if the pellet hit one on the face.

That teacher is hysterical.  Please share more about your experiences at school, and her.  You are a masterful storyteller.

Nicee to rad about a school  that still has rules and watch to see that they are followed by well most of the students anyway. Every school will have a few who love to push the limits!

I wonder if some of them test the rules to get a reprimand from her! Lol I'm sure they know she cares!

The schools could use more educators like the sweet Jamaican. Her mindfulness and presence while engaging with each student make it hard for them to ignore, especially when she speaks with a voice that comes across as serious yet kind and caring. It is truly a rare gift.
