Lo Goldiec, It is tough on some women. I noticed one had aged distinctly. Her husband had been diagnosed with the old complaint: dementia. Of course, he looked fine- no worries, I suppose.🦋

Hm, though I have found most do reciprocate at times. I did have a 4 little cakes given to me by a lady. She said years ago she used to buy cracked eggs from me because they were cheaper. Of course she did not know that I deliberately cracked some to fulfil the order. 😊

I like the peaceable feel of your posts, about a neighborhood where folks share their lives a bit without butting into other people's business. And 'cooking from scratch' with what happens to be in the kitchen sounds like I've been there, done that. Hope your day is calm and brings smiles.
