I could be wrong, but it looks like you might be getting a refund if you stick to your guns. I'm crossing my fingers that it all works out in your favor. Here is a site that might help give you some direction. Even though KDP Amazon is on the list for good reason, I like the site because it has cost me nothing for my books to be published through them, and I have received money from them monthly since 2016.
