Mercy is such that....

everyone would love for it to come their way... but few want to go to the trouble of sharing it with others.  It is easier to turn the head away and not see it or feel it is someone else's problem.   I love Psalm 103.   Our Heavenly Father teaches by His own tender mercies to us to bear one anothers' burdens to fulfil the law of Christ.

Oh, yes. The world needs more mercy.

We all need mercy from time to time. Treating others with kindness and understanding is never going to cause us to lose sleep. But there are too many times I forget the old saying "a soft answer turns away wrath." Snapping back is so automatic.

I wish the ones who are proposing the Bible be in the classroom would first live by it. I believe those who want the 10 commandments in the classroom as well cannot tell anyone who might ask what they are or recitethem. It's about control. So, enter mercy and live in a more compassionate society.
