Tough going Sam, a pity you are not near to the publishing company. That wretched smoke it seems never ending houses have been burnt over here. Future homes will be a job to sell if near to anything likely to catch fire. Hope you are dealing with the migraine take care. 🌺

Sam.....
I am so glad I am not trying to publish a book. I have always loved writing but phooey on the rest of it. I have written a couple of things that I intended for books but ended up giving my "finished" products to Son who has published a book himself in recent years and told him if he wished to take it further & publish, it is up to him and to keep any proceeds. He likes my stuff but he is a very busy man.

That smoke is the worst for anyone who has breathing problems or allergies. Hopefully, it will be contained ASAP. I'm sorry about your book problems. It is not an easy task when dealing with a publisher who prefers money over helping the author have a successfully published book.
