Yes we have not had a summer like this for years it is usually full of grumpy sayings. Folk used to flock to the seaside to get a nice tan. Now we are told not to sit in front of a fan..🌺

Well Sherri I remember years ago a woman was put in a Concentration Camp.
She had a complaint; she traded all the money she had for a jar of Marmite.
She ate all of it, straight off which took some doing. She lived to tell the tale.
Of course we used to have Bovril. 🦋

You should not go out walking I know the symptoms. This kind of heat is no good for man nor beast. Just take it easy and keep drinking, I have to go out to water the plants or they would die and some Dahlias are over ten years old. I wait until the Sun moves on, Well I suppose it is the earth.🌺

I just hope the water keeps flowing; some regions have dried up. I hope it is not the start of Global Warming I know you are more used to it. But Sun-Bathing is not on the books these days. 🌺

That heat is unrelenting and it is a danger for you. Please be careful. Stay hydrated as well. I hope it cools off there soon.

I got out in it yesterday for business reasons using my walker in case I needed it. I certainly felt like I needed it and was glad I had it with me. By the time I got back home and in the cool, I felt like I had some kind of heat stroke and took it easy the rest of this day. This morning I couldn't even remember how to work the computer, but it has gradually worked it's way out, but I'm awful slow thinking today.

Summer is beating down hard on your neighborhood. Sometimes I fear that when winter comes, it too will be extreme, and we'll be freezing our buns off. Looking forward to a gentle, colorful autumn.
