The chances of winning are infinitesimally larger if you buy a ticket... I play now and then and figure my money is going to the state dept of education, or in some places parks & recreation--things worth supporting. Most I ever won on a scratch ticket was $40.

I've played a few times but I just donate to some else's pockets. Lol. I would be afraid to become wealthy over night. I have read stories where the winners end up worse off after they win. I can imagine relatives hounding the winner relentlessly. Second thought, I'll take it. Lol

Good for the lucky winner. That is more money than a person can spend in a lifetime. I have always wondered why they feel the need to publish the winners' names. I'm sure that family members from far and wide will be knocking on their door for a handout.

and I remember someone way back many years ago who won 11million and I knew I could never spend that much money in my life....as it turned out, I would have been wrong!
