I went to a Protestant Boarding school in the city for my senior edcucation. We had to walk three abreast all in line to and from Church, a good mile and a half from the boarding house. Every Sunday, no excuses!! I actually enjoyed it and sang in the Choir which made it fun as well!

It is amazing how buildings, especially churches and homes, can touch our lives in deep, lasting ways. They are reminders of special times in our lives. Thanks for that knowledge about St. Mary, Star of the Sea. What a great title. The school church attendance requirement really surprised me. Have a great evening.

My kids went through that type of thing since they were raised Catholic. We lived in a small town back then so the only mass was Saturday evening or Sunday morning. I remember being blessed with terrific priests.Â

Well we were made to go to Church when we were children, I don't think it applies much now.
