I really don't have the answer to this question, I always thought it was a parental job to ensure one's babies were safe, warm loved and taught how to grow into a nice adfult!

Good question. I do wonder how some children appear to be left unguarded by a higher power. My guess is that evil has become too widespread for any one angel to keep up with. I feel like my guardian angel has continued watching over me throughout my life, even though I have given her a few reasons to say Lady, you are on your own.

Good Question
My answer is that it is a matter of belief. I don't know if I believe in Guardian Angels. But I believe in angels. I know someone or something was looking out for me. All I know is that faith is powerful.

Good Evening
Pat, I've always believed that Guardian Angels are with us for life. I hope you have a good night.

Good questions. I think guardians angels are protectors but when that ceases or why things still happen is probably unanswerable. It is so difficult to rationalize why bad things happen to kids. The youngsters that battle cancer and other diseases is so difficult to comprehend. Their lives barely start and they are in the fight to keep it. I'm always reminded that Jesus said it wasn't going to be easy but He would always be there. My sister died when she was a year old. Hit by a car of all things. To this day I can't understand why that had to happen. It leaves a void that can't be remedied.

I expect todays children are mostly drawn to events on the television.
Everything probably has its time in the period that defines Childhood.
