It's crazy that a remote is that significant. Perhsps it's because they just want to watch what they like without giving thought to anyone else. I don't blame you for being upset! Unfortunately it probably wouldn't make a difference if you brought it to their attention.

My mom had a saying for people like your remote hog who are unaware of the rights of others as he seems to be. She called them numb from the butt both ways. I hope he moves on and lets the rest of you enjoy TV in peace.
