As long as you are happy it feels horrible when you are sad.
I have a new neighbor she lost her husband three years ago
and her son who was thirty-two a year ago.
She has bought my Brother's house, so I am rather pleased
but a bit annoyed because she paid more for it than she needed too.🌺

As the Grammy of two teenage grandchildren, I can tell you that they are a handful, but fun. Love, patience, and guidance are important to teenagers, whether they know it or not. God bless your housemate for having those qualities.
