We were on vacation in Florida with our girls. We were driving from Orlando to Cocoa Beach right into a hurricane and had no clue. We just thought it was a bad storm. 😱

Sherri for a while they said we live in tornado alley.  I was not happy about that.  I’m thankful for my air conditioner too.  I hope you have a good night.

I remember driving to my Father-in-law's home in Florida for Thanksgiving. We were in the middle of a hurricane and had never experienced one. Didn't realize at the time it was a hurricane. One of my most frightening. I hope it doesn't get too hot!Â

Lol. I'm not sure that one can have too many books, unless, of course, they begin to take up living space. After I finish reading a book, I head to one of the many free libraries in my area and swap it out for a new book. It is definitely hot today. I agree with staying indoors, and thank goodness for air conditioning. Pittsburgh has been hit with twenty-one confirmed tornadoes this year. Thankfully, they have only been F1's. I can't imagine living through an F5 tornado. It appears that "Tornado Alley" is shifting east.Â

It's hot in Cleveland, moreso in the greater St. Louis area. We're under an extreme heat warning for the next three days. I hope the ice cream holds out. Â
