Well thank you for a cheerful blog . I think one learns through life that most folk are quite decent. I remember we were drafted at eighteen into a sort of reserve army.
I remember once receiving the weeks pay salute and march off. The sergeant hollered
at me. Come on soldier you are like an old hen.

It does seem that we are meant to meet certain folks. Amazing.

Strangers are indeed friends we havent met yet. Have a great day on purpose is one of my moms favorite sayings. Great minds think alike.

Yes a great feeling to be at ease with fellow workers. Of course one has to be able to adapt to situations it is a two way process.

That's a great way to look at strangers...When you think about it, we all start as strangers.

Good afternoon. I love your way of thinking, and your work story is fascinating. God works in mysterious ways, and I believe he has a lot to do with strangers meeting and the coincidence behind their similar backgrounds. We are indeed all connected in one way or another. I was born in Delaware, but my mom moved us to Oregon in 1972. We later moved to California, Arizona, and then to Nevada. In 1986, my husband met me in Nevada when I was at work on the naval base. We eventually ended up in Pennsylvania, where he is from. I later found out from my grandfather that my maternal great-grandfather and his father, and so on, came from the small town where my husband attended school. After researching my ancestors, I learned that my family had settled in the late 1700s just ten miles from where my husband grew up. Strange, but true.
