It reminds me of the many mythological movies I used to enjoy in my teens. It reminds me of the Sirens' hypnotic spells. They would tie themselves to the boat to resist the spell.

If I had been a sailor, I would not have been tempted. They might have smelled fishy .

Pat.....
This immediately took me back to high school times and Miss Oldham teaching us Shakespeare. She was then about the age I am now (or looked like it). She loved Shakespeare and drew us into enjoying the study.
