Well dear I still have ordinary stairs to climb. Sometimes I show off to myself and with the aid of the rails I come down two steps at a time,🌺

Older folk have the tendency to fall, care must be taken especially in this heat which seems to be everywhere. Goodness it make me shudder thinking of your fall. 🦋

I was the same I would not eat a plum because a maggot leaves a funny residue. Now an apple has only a small hole and it shows the tree has not been sprayed a couple of times.

Don't forget lay a towel where you step and try and hold on to a rail, if you have not got one I would prioritize that action. Don't shower too often it takes away the natural oils in the body. 🌺

Yes it is a pain I have to wait until the Sun moves round and then water the plants.

No it is deadly, worse coming down,, I found that a day or so ago, I do wear hip protectors

a bit of a nuisance when one wishes to show a slim figure🌺

It is funny one with a maggot that has just passed through has a real different taste. Much nicer. I know it is madness but at times I climb my stairs two at a time, I do have to use both handrails.🌺

Hot weather does wear out people. It's been quite a weather year for us. We had all that bitter cold. Now this.

I'm from the old school too, 'waste not-want not' and would trim around the worm hole in an apple rather than waste the whole thing. I avoid stairs with no railings. My old bones would not enjoy a tumble.

It's just awful when the weather is crummy. We need rain to douse the fires. Homes and cattle losses are incredible. I think it will end up being the worst fire season ever. The nearest one to me is onlyb15% contained! Just as bad as  being parched. Both are very dangerous! Hopfully we both get some relief soon.

Good Evening

CCT, I'm not so sure about the apple with the maggot.  I don't think I could eat it.  I can't eat corn with worms in it either.  I'm afraid of steps.  I don't want to fall down.  I fell in the bathroom getting out of the shower the other night, and it was a terrible experience. The floor was wet.  Now my arm and shoulder have bruises.  I always try to be so careful, but over the years I have fallen a few times.  It's how I hurt my knee.  I hope you have a good night.

A sweet treat in exchange for some fruit sounds like a deal to me. 🥧 At any age, steps without a railing can be a death sentence. Years ago, I fell down our basement steps. The bruises left a lasting impression on several body parts with black and blue marks, along with a lump or two. 😵🤕😩

I certainly do not.....

.....mount many steps these days.  It isn't that I do not trust them......It is that I do not trust me on them.
