just sitting here, dealing with the heat--not much gardening this year, I'm doing well to keep the plants in the hanging garden of the bathroom regularly watered, and fighting back the mealy bugs on the orchids on the kitchen windowsill. Also, bought a couple of big potted begonias when they were on sale for $10 at the grocery store garden section. They take a lot of water in this heat!

CCT, I think your pink flowers sound awesome. If I were close to you, I would ask for a few pink flowers. They are my favorite color. I really wish you didn't have water issues with your plants. I hope you have a good evening. Have you been having tea while relaxing at home?

I hadn't heard about a weeping ash. I looked it up. What a beautiful tree. I can see how it would keep a person cool. I'd be prone to giving flowers away so Archie will be mad at both of us! Lol

My mother was an avid gardener and raised a wide variety of flowers along with her vegetables. She had pinks and carnations among others - lovely. Nice of you to give some to your neighbors and customers.Â

You are a sweet man. It is generous of you to give the flowers to your neighbors. I love pink flowers. I believe they may be my favorite. 🌺I have several of them growing in my yard, along with purple and yellow flowers.Â
