Some people, I believe, can only love themselves? forgive themselves? live with their own mistakes? by convincing themselves that they are better than somebody else. They never seem to learn that life is not a compettion with others, I wonder if such folks ever really enjoy life because if you are always judging others and complaining about them, do they worry then about what everyone things of you?Â

Great questions. I think some people like a personal pity party or like to stir the pot. My son-in-law has a family member that is having a hard time because he and my daughter scheduled their baby shower on the same day as another relative's child's first birthday. She had committed to the party. That should have been the end of it but she is still ranting about others choosing the shower over the birthday. So it is back to one of your point. She decided to attend the birthday why should she be concerned with decisions made by others. Folks just love to stick their noses where it doesn't belong.Â
