Re: Reading this a day late Taps

Amen TAPS. Staying close to the Lord is the only way to make it through. And I am so thankful for the songs God puts in my heart.

I too am praying for those remaining in conflict within your wife`s family and also for you for it is a trying time for everyone, yes worse for some families than others.

Reading this a day late

It seems that troublesome times are here in every family, and they fill hearts with fear.

I'm so sorry for families who experience problems because  I know how it feels.  Staying close to the Lord Jesus is the best thing ever that one can do.  And it so helps to sing.

Singing of Jesus I'm happy,
Singing of Jesus He loves me.
One day He's coming to take me....
To sing around the throne.

Thank you for the reminder that we don't have 'forever' to mend fences.

It is a tough one, and I suspect it is World over. A few careless words and the result is sealed.

Working as a paramedic and ER nurse, I saw so many people who had never realized that not even the next five minutes are guaranteed. I know I've said it here before, but every time we part for even a short trip uptown, there is always the possibility that something will happen. Every time we separate, we always tell each other, "I love you."

I'm so sorry for your family's loss. It is really sad when a family is torn apart because of indifference, and nobody steps in to talk about the issues and eventually make peace. Hopefully, your wife can eventually talk the issues out with her siblings and finally put it behind her.

The family peacemaker is such an important role. Without it, families drift apart, or there is the big one when it comes to the argument that leads to estrangement.
