Yes I bought 365 and it disappeared. By chance I noticed it was wiped but still available if one so desired. It would have been far better to ask first if one wanted to keep it.

Yes it must be a chore revving up those old computers. In the past some I have bought as new still had some rather low quality components.   The school is lucky to get someone qualified.

This is great news. Now, if we could do something about the hackers who compromise our computers' security. 🤔

Mike.....

I love your second paragraph.   You make me feel needed even though I am way over the hill.

Having dealt with computers, I agree that they are not that smart. They can do some crazy things.

I don't know how I ever got along without a computer, but for the majority of my work life, it was hand-written notes, typewriter, calculator, manual debit & credit postings - and the typewriter, words & numbers on paper.  I'm not thrilled with our rapid tech changes, the ever-changing how-to. On the other hand, the folks on the job today are smart and capable and keeping the systems up and functioning. Peace.

Education is power. We are failing our youth! This was highly informative!

Computers have certainly changed over the years but what disappoints me the things that used to be part of a computer are no longer free! Everything has to be paid extra to have!

Good Evening

BearcatMike, I'm thankful to know that computers will always need humans to program them.  It makes me feel a little safer in the world.  We don't need computers taking over the world.  I do wish the students had up-to-date computers to work with and do their assignments.  I hope you have a good night.
