Alzheimer's and Dementia
Sadly, as my first wife melted deeper into these two diseases that seem to be partners. On an almost weekly basis, she got worse. Minus the comedy, Judy melted like the Evil Witch melted in the movie, "The Wizard of Oz." I saw her melt and slowly slip away... and I remember the pain I felt as it happened.
