I hope you find a solution to stay cool. You do have options and that's a plus. The vehicle could become expensive with the price of gas. Caves are a bit scary.

You're right. It is a chilling thought when you consider the extreme temperatures that so many states have been dealing with. I can't imagine what a future hot summer would feel like if this is considered the coolest summer we will experience in years. I have the same window issue as you do. We only have three windows that will accommodate window AC units. Thankfully, one is in my kitchen. With all of the cooking I do, I am grateful for that. We thought about installing central AC, but our home was built in 1910, so we try to keep things somewhat historic. Thanks for sharing the link to the best air conditioners in 2026.
