I think the heat expands parts of the door and I was lucky to knock a piece of metal off without damaging the whole structure.

The trouble with tomatoes one must never let them dry out if they do one gets blossom end rot and it shows black in the ripe fruit. Flowers lucky for the bees.

Fresh tomato slices with a smidgen of salt and a glass of ice water in the kitchen. That should be cool and refreshing. I hope you get a bit of gentle rain very soon.

I agree that the heat can really drain your energy. Stay cool and stay hydrated. My wife planted some tomatoes this year. The heat, however, has not been kind to her plants. But her flowers are growing well.
