Pat.....

Your stories of your early life always take me  back with you and make me remember stories o my own that I had forgotten.  Never experienced an earthquake but there were a lot of tornados for excitement.

Your Mr. Brewer sounds like he'd gotten some experience as a bank robber! "Everyone stay calm and no one will get hurt!"

Walt sounds like the kind of person that legends are made. Simple and shy with a desire for the outdoors. Most people are unsure of who they are and what they want. Walt sounds like a good character for a western.

It would be nice to think that Walt found the kind of life that he appreciated. Not all of us do.🌺

Poor Walt, what an unfortunate turn of events for him. Your description of his demeanor leads me to believe he had/has a good life.  I truly enjoy your well written stories. They are so vivid I feel like I'm there! 👍

Good morning. Hopefully, your vision of him is on point. It is a good one for a quiet farm boy who grew up to be a man.
