It would be nice to get some rain here. It is really tiring to keep watering the crops.
I expect a ban on hosepipes will be the next problem. Your mention of rain is quite exciting.
Perhaps you do the rain dance/ I did try it once and it flooded the next door neighbors.

Sea Gypsy, I hope you have an awesome day. I'm so glad the kids got to hear the stories from the guys who experienced it. It was a great idea. I'm so glad I invited the military guys over. I can tell the stories, but they won't be like the guys who lived through it.

That was a great idea to have the guys there telling about their experiences. What fun. Yes, the scorpions were a bit much. Once when my daughter was in college a bunch of them went to Mexico and camped there. You can't do that now safely. But when she came back she unloaded her gear and travel bags into her room and she found a scorpion in her shoe, which she promptly brought out to the hallway and then through the front door. Have a pleasant day.

Good afternoon. It sounds like you had a really nice weekend. I imagine that the Coral Reef is really deep. Our middle daughter stayed overnight with us. It's great to have the family around. The heat has been awful. I am so thankful for a cooler day. I can get a lot of overdue outside chores done today. Enjoy your day with Sadie. ☺️
