In some countries an ear tip is clipped, a sign that a community cat has been captured, rendered unable to reproduce, and returned to the community. This prevents them from being caught again to the waste of everyone's time, and great annoyance to some.

I write my posts first, then browse through my Favorites to keep up with what others are up to. Sometimes responses don't come in words, but a little emoji lets people know I stopped by.

Re: SG

Thank you, fortunately a series of strong winds are helping to keep it more user friendly

apart from drying the ground more quickly. I expect the Water Board will soon be trying to ban hoses. I did get an exemption last year, but it is a bit embarrassing at times. I hope your hubby is managing and the bed problem is sorted , I just thought I must lock the back door the heat plays havoc with the fittings.  🌺

Re: Sherri

The little devil keeps giving me the evil eye, I keep trying to tell him it is only a snip.

Re: Good Evening

Yes I think we all would like it to ease off. Fortunately we are getting more wind so it does help if one is outside.

Re: Sam

My neighbor eats the skin, I am more worried about how they were handled. We get New Zealand Kiwi's I did experiment by sterilizing one first. I do have a banana and odd choices.

Having been a poultry farmer I have a job to hack eggs but I do scramble with Marmite.

Re: Pat

We are still waiting for another little gentleman man to be caught and rendered more user friendly.🌺

Cats are definitely not as trainable as dogs - they keep their own counsel. And some are destructive. I once had one tear up the curtains at my window trying to climb up and see out. Then when I opened the door to the apartment, it dashed out the door and disappeared up the alley before I could react. I think we were both happier after her escape.

Bummer on the cat! I eat a kiwi at breakfast every morning with a banana and boiled egg. I get the daily requirements for vitamins and nutrients. I do eat the skin! I will put a kiwi in a smoothie as well.

That is the reason I myself automatically respond to comments to my blogs.

Good Evening

CCT, I'm praying for cooler temperatures.  I would not eat the kiwi skin.  I don't think we should.  I hope you have a good night.

My daughter has a cat with a snipped V in her ear. She was told it was from the cat being spayed. One will have to be fast to catch that sneaky little devil. You are always so thoughtful with your comments on all of our posts. It is hard to keep up with all of the blog posts, but I enjoy sitting down and taking the time to read what everyone is up to. I also love that we are all from different places.

I think it is very generous of you and of those who do choose to comment regularly on others' posts. Yes, it is time-consuming and then one often has no time left to write one's own post but it is very thoughtful of you and others to do. I hope you will be okay in the extreme heat. It is worrisome. Take care. Red rose
