There are times in people's lives when they just want to have normalcy. He sat by you, in my opinion, because you saw him for who he was, a buddy! It's rough to be ogled, praised and always someone wanting your attention when you long for quality conversation. Kudos to for giving him what he longed to have.

Of course girls change their names so it is difficult to track them and folk move but I still study the obituary column..

Good morning. He probably enjoyed talking to you because you offered him intelligent conversation. Giggling, gushing girls can be really irritating at that age.
