There hasn't been any warning against fireworks but I believe the fire department will be busy. In my neighborhood they start early and continue until at least 2 a.m. So, I'm with you where's the consideration gone!?

Well stated. Common sense is vital this time of year. Our fireworks are shot over the river by our local firemen. The desert, wooded areas, and high heat are a dangerous mix for fireworks. Animals don't do well with the loud boomers, and as I get older, nor do I.
