I love vichyssoise! For the 4th maybe potato salad and a protein with fruit and a green salad. Or hot dogs and burgers and baked beans? Not sure yet. Depends on the weather.

Good Evening

Ciel, when it's really hot, I'm happy with a sandwich.  I'm not sure what we are having for the 4th of July.  It's so hot here.  We beat another record today.  Our heat index was off the charts.  I hope you have a good night.

I eat vegetables and fruit throughout the summer. I get my protein in Greek yogurt, roasted garbanzo beans and 3 bean salad. Plus my daughter always has left over chicken she gives me.

We are cooking inside on our indoor grill for the 4th of July. It is definitely too hot to cook outdoors. I have never had cold soup. Maybe one day I will try it. Stay cool, everyone.

Good morning. I feel you, sister. It is too hot to turn on any device that throws off heat, but I am simmering Salisbury steaks in gravy for my better half. Cold food is the way to go in this heat. I'm making myself a honey turkey sandwich with pepperjack cheese, lettuce, tomato, and mayo on sourdough bread. A cold crab or tuna salad would hit the spot as well. Stay cool and enjoy your day. ☺️
