My nephew saw a little dog each time he visited a caravan as he is a postman
It looked so sad tied up outside the caravan.. The owners had just had a Baby. The dog was not wanted and my nephew took it as he has one of the same breeds.
It needed pounds spent on it £500 for a start. It still follows anyone around if it senses food.
It was very lucky.🦋

Sam444, when I was writing my post about Sadie this morning, I thought about your daughter. I know she is so good to her animals. I love that about her. It is so expensive at the vet, but it's the only way to keep our animals healthy. I haven't started on the cupboard project. I had to stop everything because the electricity in the back room went out. I had to call the electrician, and he's coming over tomorrow to see what's wrong. There is always something that needs to be fixed around here. I hope you have a good day.

How true on the shots being expensive. My daughter has 4 cats and it's $100 per car per year on vaccines and other shots. I love it that you give Sadie an allowance! How cool. When my daughter brought Louie home her neighbor said he doesn't know it but he just moved into duck heaven. Lol I suspect that's where Sadie lives as well. Stay cool and have a fine day? How's the cupboard project coming along?

Sherri, I love your comment about Chippy. I think the chicken-coop wire will help. We have chipmunks here, there, and everywhere. They chew on my neighbor's plants. The sun came out, but now it's gone again. It's really getting windy now. It looks like it's going to rain. I hope you have a good day.

Pat, I think you've made the right decision to not have a cat or dog. I wouldn't want you to fall and get hurt. My son-in-law watches YouTube, and they have some of the cutest dogs on there. I'm going to check it out. He watches Border Collies, but I'm sure they have all kinds of breeds to watch. I hope you have a good day. Stay cool! I think you are doing great. You are an amazing pet parent, and Sadie is lucky to have you. It is adorable that you give her an allowance. A pampered pooch most surely needs one to buy her pretty girl necessities. It is a bit windy here in my neck of the woods, too. I need to finish weeding my flower beds, and we have to put up chicken-coop wire to keep Chippy out of our pepper plants. They are in a raised bed, but chipmunks are expert climbers. The little brat! Enjoy your day. ☺️

I like dogs - and cats - but don't have a pet these days. At 90 my balance isn't what it used to be, and I'm leery of tripping over a pet. The thing is, once I fall, I can't get up by myself. It's embarrassing to have to call the fire dept. to come pick me up off the floor.
