We pay for water usage, but each year we are warned not to water lawns or use sprinklers' ,Or hand held hoses. I try to catch as much rain water as possible, but it is hard work if one has to rely on, watering cans. I always wished there was a little stream running down through the garden. 🌺

I'd note all the problem patches and plant something else in them. Ground cover like clover, or create garden patches with irises for instance, or a tree. But that's me. Good luck with it!

Sam444, I wish you luck with your sprinklers. I hope it's not too expensive. We have a project coming up with our driveway. We have to have it dug up and new gravel put down. I have no idea how much that will cost. I'm getting an estimate soon. What kind of beans are you using in your recipe? I love beans. I hope you have a good day.

Good luck with the sprinkler situation. I hope it doesn't cost you an arm and a leg. As for that bean salad, yum! I love beans. My favorite way to eat them is in lentil soup. 🍲

Our sprinkler system is a mess. It needs to be completely redone. Was a mess when we moved here. Sorry it’s going to be expensive for you. Same here.
