- Go to The College Plan
I was brought up with the thought that college is for everyone. That changed as my parents got older and saw that isn’t true. Some of my greatest surprises were from kids I went to high school with who did not go to college but became very successful I think the point is, work hard at what you love, if you can do so. If not, work hard. 🤣

I come from a multi-generational military family, so I had thought about enlisting after graduation. I never really had a college plan, but I attended community college for a short time while starting my own business. Luckily, that worked out well for me.

Staying at home after college is a solid plan for building a nest egg. I unfortunately did not follow that plan. My job took me away from home, and I was married as well. Indeed, it is different these days. The smart move is to find employment before you graduate.

Well a lot of young folk went to college here and taking ridiculous subjects. Now they have to pay back loans, not much employment opportunities for lace making.

College is so expensive. I think the plan to stay near was solid! It's a bit funny how we get attached to a part time income. I had a Friday night cook job at a lodge when I was in my 20's. I had a hard time leaving it.
