Yes it is a personal thing, you want the book how you want it to be. It costs enough to warrant that. So many folk here bought dogs when the epidemic was curtailing different
ways to occupy one's time, It is lawful to redeem any unwanted doggy poo. Sadly a few night time walkers and one even put the poo in my refuge bin. 🌺

It feels like it's more work to edit and make sure the formatting is right than the writing itself.

Sam444, I don't blame you for wanting to take your time and have the book done just the way you want it. I'm wondering how many poems will be in your book? I can't remember if you said there would be pictures in your book. I always have trouble putting a picture in my book. When my writing group published our book last year, the publisher had to help me with the pictures. I hope you have a good day. Stay cool on these hot days. Â
