Well, Taps we did have the war to contend with, I suppose we tend to forget bad things if we are lucky.🌺

Oh, yes, they were the days. It's sound like a fun time back then.

Our childhood world was so different, we can hardly understand the kids today, nor they us!

Re: Sherri.....
I am just so glad that I remember all that stuff from my childhood.  I don't want to forget it. Four of my siblings are already gone but I love remembering them.

Re: Good morning
Goldiec.....I had a love/hate relationship with "The Blob".  I was fascinated by it, but it scared me to death.  LOL

Good morning
Taps, these were fun days. My friends and I would roller skate, ride our bikes, and play tag. If it were raining, we'd play Chinese checkers or maybe Monopoly.  We loved to play hide and seek, and on really hot days, we were allowed to put on our bathing suits and turn on the sprinkler and run through it. Our Barbie dolls had modeling contests on our porch. On Saturday, we'd go to the movies and scare ourselves watching Dracula, and then we'd come home and look for garlic. I saw the Blob movie, I don't know how many times. I hope you have a great Saturday!

Those were the days. Kids today will never understand how awesome our childhood was. I wish we could go back to those simpler times.
