I suppose when one thinks about it the cuttings need roots before they can extract anything from the soil. I know that one grower just used sand.
We have not had a Thunderstorm for ages, I feel too weary to do the traditional
Rain-dance , I don't know if it still works.🌺

Ground up eggshells are really good for plants. I never thought of using the water they are simmered in. Thanks for sharing that tip. My plants are spoiled too. I particularly love a tomato sandwich on a hot summer day that my Beefsteaks work so well for, so I make sure they grow large and healthy. Our weather was about the same as yours yesterday. No rain today and a comfortable 80 degrees. Enjoy your day.

Good evening
Sam444, you really do take good care of your plants. There are a lot of plants to care for and water. Do you put them outside in the fresh air? I know they give you so much enjoyment. I hope you had a nice Memorial Day. Our weekend did not go as planned but all in all it was a nice weekend for the family. I think I should stop planning these holidays. I never know how they’re going to turn out.
