I'm always amazed every time I read about your family and their service to our country. The timing was not right for my Dad. When he tried to enlist for WWI they told him he was too young. When he tried to enlist for WWII, they told him to go home and take care of his five children that he was too old.

Yes Pat and it was doubly tough for those who did not want to go, but did go out of patriotism. Of course, we must not forget the families who suffered the daily torment of wondering if their loved ones were safe.🌺
