The internet can be a great tool but so many misuse it. I have McAfee. Not only the internet the phone scams are crazy. I get a text once a week asking if I want to sell my house. I dont respond and just the intro is enough and I delete. The crooks come at us from every media and the mail. It's insanity! You give good advice in this post!

You're right. You've got to learn to be safe in so many areas in life. Technology has allowed scammers to go places they have never gone before. Unfortunately, there are people who aren't familiar with technology or how to stay safe from certain dangers. I just came across a show on A&E called Squatters. It is amazing how these people take over an unoccupied home and the police have their hands tied when it comes to getting them out because it is a civil matter. Apparently, squatters have rights when it comes to just kicking them out. They covered Michigan and Texas today. Ridiculous. My husband was a sharpshooter in the Army. He taught me how to use a gun. I also carry pepper spray. You could actually cover an entire series of posts on safety for various categories. I know that I would appreciate any valuable information that you can pass down to your readers. Happy Memorial Day weekend. Enjoy!

Yes Absolutely. I am impressed that you have had weapons training. I think they target seniors. My mother gets constant calls, as do I. Have a great Memorial Day as well.

BearcatMike, thanks for sharing all your tips for safety. I know when I took my concealed carry class, one of the most important things I learned was to know my target and beyond. I've never forgotten that. We get scam calls every day, all day long, and I quit answering them long ago. I don't entertain their nonsense. We always have to be alert.
