Mike.....

I just don't know what to say!  My Mother and all of her family were Czechoslovakian and they called it pátek.

I would imagine Friday is a good day to anticipate how one wishes to spend the next two.

I enjoyed reading your backstory as to how the word Friday originated.

When I worked in the print shop, the crew adjourned to a nearby bar on Fridays after our shift at 4:30 p.m. for a happy hour drink, and if Marie was serving their special hamburger with onions - that, too. Happy Fridays were a thing, then.

I can see how love and Friday go hand in hand for most people. Mine and my hubby's Friday is Monday. Happy Memorial Day weekend. Enjoy! ☺️
