Good for you. I hope you share the link to your book. I have enjoyed being published through Amazon KDP. I receive monthly royalties that fluctuate in pay, depending on how often I remember to promote and advertise my books. I elect the free book promotions. So far it has served me well.

Congratulations on your purchases and best of luck with it! It sounds grand to me. I have wanted to publish my poetry for years but like you, could never get it to format correctly and with visuals. However. I have not sorted nor have I edited my poems into books yet. It will be a while with my hubby unwell. Very glad for you!
